From Capitoline’s international practical experience gained by auditing and designing small and large computer rooms and data centres both in the private and public sector comes this unique 4-day surgery. It combines on site training with an audit of your computer room or data centre to determine how it matches up to best practices and to identify short and long term improvements.

Learn how to improve the efficiency and resilience of your data centre or computer room.

The Workshop comprises two days of training to create a good understanding of the essential principles of good data centre design and operational management followed by a day auditing your facility. The final day is then spent using the information from the audit to determine the suitability of the layout, power, cooling systems and cabling infrastructure and to plan improvements which could be made in the short and long term to improve the efficiency and resilience of the facility. Following completion of the workshop you will also receive a full audit report from our consultant.

Every two weeks, somewhere in the world, a major data centre suffers a major breakdown and loss of availability with an average downtime of 17 hours. In nearly every case these breakdowns are avoidable with better design and procedures in place. The workshop is aimed at reducing the likelihood of your facility becoming one of them.

“A unique opportunity to learn from the experts and apply this immediately to your own facility with assistance from the same experts .”

The surgery is recognised as Continuing Professional Development for the maintenance of many professional qualifications and for example counts as 21 Continuing Education Credits for BICSI RCDD, NTS and Installer qualified members.
